Nia Washington

Dr. Zelikovsky
Supervising MD, Family Medicine & Internal MedicineI've cared for people at every age of life. I found my calling with the people who remind me of the woman who raised me.
I was raised by my great grandmother.
I grew up in her house, and as she got older, caring for her wasn't a chore it was just what we did. Keeping up with her medicine. Sitting beside her at appointments. Noticing when something was a little off before anyone else could see it. I didn't know it at the time, but she was giving me my life's work.
My career took me through nearly every corner of healthcare. I started in pediatrics at Children's Health, working in the radiology department, X-ray and fluoroscopy with our tiniest patients. From there I moved to the ICU at Cook Children's, caring for critically ill kids and standing with their families through the hardest days of their lives. Then I went to the emergency department at Baylor, downtown Dallas, where care is fast, unpredictable, and around the clock.
I learned something everywhere I worked. But I found my calling at Presbyterian Village North, a senior living community where I had the opportunity to work in this exact model of care: membership-based, relationship-driven, built around knowing every patient by name. I helped run that practice and cared for a couple hundred residents, and I loved it in a way that surprised even me. Because every single visit felt familiar. It felt like taking care of my great-grandmother.
Babies, children, emergencies, elders. I've cared for people at every stage of life. And what I know for certain after all of it is this: the best care doesn't happen in a waiting room. It happens where you live, delivered by someone who knows you.
So I built PureStone to bring that care to your door.
I'm a certified clinical medical assistant, and I'm the person who comes to your home. The face you'll know, the name you'll have. Every member's care is directed by our supervising physician, who personally meets each new member by video and stays involved in your care. The doctor directs the care. I deliver it with everything I learned from Children's to Cook's to Baylor, and everything I learned first in my great-grandmother's living room.
We don't take insurance, on purpose. One simple membership. No claims, no surprise bills, no fighting over what's covered. Just care, at home, from someone who knows your name.
If you're reading this for yourself or for your mother, your father, your grandmother. I'd love to meet you. The first visit is free, and it's just a conversation.
